The Kelbke is a 7.5 km long orographic left tributary of the Ruhr in the North Rhine-Westphalian Hochsauerlandkreis , Germany .

The river rises at Oesterberge on the eastern flank of the Markshöhe at an altitude of 488  m above sea level. NN . The stream reaches Calle, mainly flowing northwards . Here the 6.8 km long Schürenbach flows on the right and the 4.9 km long Waller Bach ( Wallerbach , in the upper course Wiemke ) on the left. A little later the stream flows southeast of Wennemen at 241  m above sea level. NN in the Ruhr .

The creek overcomes a height difference of 247 m on its 7.5 km long path, which corresponds to an average bed gradient of 32.9 ‰. It drains a catchment area of 24,089 km² across the Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea .

The Kelbke runs for the most part in the nature reserve valley area of ​​the Kelbke creek south of Calle and in the nature reserve Stesser Wiese north of Calle .
