Keld Zeruneith
Keld Zeruneith (born March 19, 1941 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish literary scholar and writer who u. a. became known for several biographies of Danish writers .
Life
Zeruneith studied literature and received his doctorate in 1981 on the late romantic poet Emil Aarestrup . The one under the title Den frigjorte. Emil Aarestrup i digtning and samtid. The dissertation published en biografi was awarded the Georg Brandes Prize in the same year .
He then worked as a lecturer at the University of Copenhagen and taught there until 2005. During this time he wrote biographies on Johannes Ewald ( Soldigteen , 1985) and Sophus Claussen ( Fra klodens værksted , 1992). In Træhesten. Fra Odysseus til Socrates. En bevidsthedshistorie (2002) he dealt with ancient Greek literature and its importance as the basis of European culture.
Zeruneith has been married to the writer Suzanne Brøgger since 1991 .
