Wine press (Horkheim)
The former wine press at Schlossgasse 2 in the Heilbronn district of Horkheim was built in 1774 on the site of an earlier wine press. Historic ovens were later installed on the ground floor, but none of them have survived. The reason for this was the collapse of the vaulted cellar on which the wine press was built in 1985. The listed building is a cultural monument .
description
The building is a single-storey, unplastered half-timbered house with a half- hip roof . The ovens on the western side of the brick ground floor are remarkable. A large arched gate leads to the bakery, which is still in use today.
