Kelvin Manuel Mathijs Snoeks (born September 12, 1987 in Haarlem ) is a Dutch racing driver . He competed in Formula 2 in 2010 and 2011 .

Career

Snoeks began his motorsport career in karting in 2002 , where he was active until 2006. In 2007 he switched to formula racing and was starting 27th in the Northern European Formula Renault for AR Motorsport . In the following season, the Dutchman stayed in this championship and improved to tenth place overall. In 2009 , Snoeks stayed with AR Motorsport and switched to the international Formula Master . He started every race and with eighth place as the best result, he couldn't get any points. At the end of the season he finished 20th overall. He also took part in two Swedish Formula Renault races for AR Motorsport.

In 2010 Snoeks switched to Formula 2 , a championship in which there are no teams and all drivers were looked after by the same organization. With a third place as the best result, the Dutchman, who did not start at a race weekend, finished 13th overall. In 2011 , Snoeks contested his second season in Formula 2. With a fifth place as the best result, he improved to the tenth championship place.
