Formula 2 season 2011
The 2011 Formula 2 season was the third season of the FIA Formula 2 Championship . It started on April 16, 2011 in Silverstone and ended on October 30 in Barcelona .

The two Friday training sessions have been extended from 30 to 45 minutes.
Starting field
All drivers used Williams JPH1B chassis and engines from Audi . All racing cars and drivers were looked after by MotorSport Vision .

Racing calendar
Formula 2 hosted eight races in 2011. In contrast to the previous year, the races were no longer part of the supporting program of the WTCC , but together with the races of the International GT Open .

The first ten of the race got 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point (s) respectively.
