The Diocese of Natitingou (Latin Dioecesis Natitinguensis , French Diocèse de Natitingou ) is an in Benin located diocese of the Roman Catholic Church , based in Natitingou .

history

The diocese Natitingou was on February 10, 1964 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Ne latius pateret from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Prefecture Parakou and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cotonou as a suffragan . The Diocese of Natitingou gave on June 10, 1995 parts of its territory to establish the Diocese of Djougou . On October 16, 1997, the Diocese of Natitingou was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Parakou as a suffragan.
