Nicolas Okioh

Nicolas Okioh (born January 14, 1932 in Manigri, † April 15, 2001 ) was Bishop of Natitingou .

Life

Nicolas Okioh was ordained a priest on December 21, 1963 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Natitingou on November 11, 1983 . The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on January 6 of the next year ; Co-consecrators were Eduardo Martínez Somalo , substitute for the State Secretariat , and Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .

He resigned from his office on June 10, 1995.
