Antonio Sabi Bio (* 1963 in Gounienou , Atakora , Benin ) is Bishop of Natitingou .

Life

After studying philosophy and theology at the Grand Séminaire Saint Gall in Ouidah, he was on 12 August 1990 from the Bishop of Natitingou, Nicolas Okioh , the deacon and on December 7, 1991 the Archbishop of Aix , Bernard Panafieu , a priest consecrated to the Diocese of Natitingou. On June 19, 2002, he obtained a license in pastoral theology at the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. After his ordination he held the following offices: 1991–1997 chancellor, economist and procurator of the diocese; 1997–1999 pastor of the parish of Sainte Marie Reine in Koussou; 1999–2002 studies in Rome; 2002–2009 Rector of the Small Seminary St. Pierre di Natitingou and since 2008 Vicar General ; 2009–2013: Pastor of the Cathedral. Since August 13, 2011 he has been Apostolic Administrator of the diocese.

On March 13, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Natitingou. The Archbishop of Parakou , Pascal N'Koué , donated him the episcopal ordination on May 17th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Benin, Archbishop Brian Udaigwe , and the Bishop of Djougou , Paul Kouassivi Vieira .
