The Roman Catholic Diocese of Djougou ( Latin Dioecesis Diuguensis , French Diocèse de Djougou ) is an in Benin located diocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Djougou .

history

The Diocese of Djougou was established on June 10, 1995 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Quo aptius proveheretur from cessions of territory from the Diocese of Natitingou and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cotonou as a suffragan .

On October 16, 1997, the Diocese of Djougou was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Parakou as a suffragan.
