Max Snegirev

Maxim "Max" Sergejewitsch Snegirjow , also Max Snegirev , ( Russian Максим "Макс" Серге́евич Снегирёв ; born June 12, 1987 in Moscow ) is a Russian automobile racing driver . He started in the Auto GP in 2012 and 2013 .

Career

Snegirev's motorsport career in formula racing began in 2007 in the Formula Palmer Audi . He finished the season in 19th place and was twelfth in the subsequent fall championship. In 2008 Snegirjow contested his second season in the Formula Palmer Audi and improved to eleventh place overall and tenth place in the autumn championship. He also competed in the British Formula Renault winter series and finished 22nd.

In 2009 Snegirev moved to the British Formula 3 championship for Team West-Tec . He took part in eight out of ten race weekends and finished fourth in the national class. He also took part in two British Formula Renault races and one Formula Palmer Audi race. 2010 Snegirjow denied his second season in the British Formula 3 championship for Fortec Motorsport . With one point he ended the season as the worst driver of his team in 18th place in the championship standings. He also took part in the last two Formula Palmer Audi racing weekends. He won a race and finished the season in 13th place overall.

In 2011 Snegirev started in the FIA Formula 2 championship . With two seventh places as the best results, he finished the season in 18th place. He also took part in three racing weekends of the British Formula 3 Championship for Hitech Racing this season . In 2012 Snegirjow switched to Campos Racing in the Auto GP World Series . With two sixth places as the best results, he finished the season in 13th place overall. He also returned to Formula 2 for the second race weekend . With a seventh place as the best result, he was 15th in the championship. In 2013 , Snegirev moved to Virtuosi Racing UK within the Auto GP . Fifth place was his best result. He reached 13th place overall and was internally defeated by Andrea Roda .
