The 2012 Formula 2 season was the fourth and final season of the FIA Formula 2 Championship . It started on April 14th at Silverstone and ended on September 30th in Monza .

The Formula 2 tire supplier switched to the 2012 season. Avon was replaced by Yokohama .

Teams and drivers

All drivers used Williams JPH1B chassis, Audi engines and Yokohama tires . All racing cars and drivers were looked after by MotorSport Vision .

Racing calendar

In 2012, Formula 2 held eight race weekends with two races each. The racing calendar was confirmed by the FIA ​​on December 7th.

The races in Magny-Cours , Spielberg and Barcelona were no longer in the calendar . Portimão , Le Castellet and Hungaroring are new additions .
