Axcil Jefferies

Axcil Jefferies (born April 15, 1994 in Slough , England , United Kingdom ) is a Zimbabwean automobile racing driver .

Career

Jefferies began his motorsport career at the age of six in karting, where he was active until 2008. 2009 Jefferies moved at the age of 14 years in Formula racing and entered the Pacific Formula BMW for Eurasia Motorsport on. He won two races and was third in the championship. In 2010 he started the Pacific Formula BMW season for Motaworld Racing , but lost his cockpit after the second race weekend. Jefferies struggled with budget during this period.

In 2012 Jefferies received a cockpit in Formula 2 . Although he was initially on the starting list, he did not register for the first race weekend. He only got into the series for the third event. He regularly scored points and was twelfth in the drivers' championship. In 2013 , Jefferies was without a fixed cockpit. He took part in two races of the North American Indy Lights . He started for JMM / BHA with Curb-Agajanian . Fifth place was his best result.

In 2014 Jefferies competed for Trident Racing in the GP2 series season opener . Then he lost his cockpit. Jefferies again took part in two Indy Lights races in 2014 . This time he started for Belardi Auto Racing . Fourth place was his best result.
