2014 Indy Lights season
The 2014 Indy Lights season was the 29th season of the American Indy Lights racing series . The season started on March 30th in Saint Petersburg and ended on August 24th in Sonoma . 14 races were held. Gabby Chaves won the championship.
It was the final season of the Dallara Infiniti racing cars in use since 2002.

The 2014 Indy Lights season consisted of 14 races. All races took place as part of the IndyCar Series . New to the calendar was a street course variant of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Sonoma Raceway . The Iowa Speedway , the Streets of Baltimore , the Reliant Park and the Auto Club Speedway were no longer on the calendar .

Drivers who completed less than 50% of the race distance received one point regardless of their placement.
There was also an additional point for pole position , the fastest race lap and for the driver who had led the race the most laps.
