2010 Indy Lights season

The 2010 Firestone Indy Lights season was the 25th season of the American Indy Lights racing series . 13 races were held. The season began on March 28, 2010 in Saint Petersburg and ended on October 2, 2010 in Homestead . Jean Karl Vernay won the championship title in his first season.

All teams used Dallara chassis , Infiniti engines and Firestone tires .

Racing calendar

The 2010 Indy Lights season consisted of 13 races. All races were part of the supporting program of the IndyCar Series . Five races were held on ovals, four on street courses or temporary racetracks and four on permanent racetracks.

There was also one extra point for pole position and two extra points for the driver who had led the race most of the laps.
