The 2012 Indy Lights season was the 27th season of the American Indy Lights racing series .

Teams and drivers

All teams used Dallara chassis , Infiniti engines and Firestone tires .

Juncos Racing took over the Indy Lights team from Davey Hamilton Racing .

Racing calendar

The 2012 Indy Lights season consisted of twelve races. New to the racing calendar were the Raceway at Belle Isle in Detroit and the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana . Ten races took place as part of the IndyCar Series . The race on the Circuit Trois-Rivières was a single event of the Indy Lights.
