Duarte Ferreira

Duarte Ferreira (born November 1, 1992 ) is a former Angolan racing car driver . In 2011 he started in the Indy Lights .

Career

Ferreira began his motorsport career in Belgian karting in 1999 and remained active in this sport until 2005. From 2006 to 2009 Ferreira took part in racing driving schools and completed test drives in Formula Renault 1.6 and 2.0 vehicles . 2010 changed Ferreira in Formula racing and started for various teams in the 3 Championship Formula South America . He won the B classification five times and finished the season in third place in this classification. His best overall placements were three third places.

In 2011 Ferreira competed for Bryan Herta Autosport in the North American Indy Lights . With a third place as the best result, he was eighth overall at the end of the season.

Cycling

Since August 1, 2013, he has been registered as a driver with the Portuguese Continental Team Louletano-Dunas Douradas .

Ferreira was born in Portugal and grew up in Belgium .
