Mikaël Grenier

Mikaël Grenier (born October 17, 1992 in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury , Québec ) is a Canadian racing driver .

Career

Grenier began his motorsport career in karting at the age of five and remained active in the sport until 2007. In 2008 he switched to formula racing and competed for the Apex-HBR Racing Team in the American Formula BMW . He scored six podium finishes and finished the season in fourth place in the championship. In 2009 Grenier moved to Andersen Racing in the Star Mazda Series and took part in 6 of 13 races. In the overall standings he was 18th. 2010 Grenier stayed with Andersen Racing and played his second season in the Star Mazda Series. He won one race and was on the podium in two other races. In the drivers' standings, he finished the season in eighth place overall.

In 2011 Grenier started the season for O2 Racing Technology in the Indy Lights . He completed four races for the team that ceased racing during the season. He then took part in another race of this championship for the Moore Racing team. At the end of the season he finished 16th overall. After Grenier was only active in karting in 2012, he returned to the Indy Lights in 2013 for a race with the Moore Racing team.

At the end of 2013, Grenier completed IndyCar test drives for KV Racing Technology . In 2014 he stayed with KV Racing Technology, but did not make any races or tests.
