Fabio Gamberini

Fabio Gamberini (born September 22, 1992 ) is a former Brazilian - British racing driver .

Career

Gamberini began his motorsport career at the age of eight in karting , in which he was active until 2007. Among other things, he was Brazilian kart champion in the junior menor category in 2005 . After 2008 already testing in Formula Ford had completed -cars, he moved in 2009 in the Formula racing and went to the British Formula Ford. He was 15th overall and third in the Scholarship Class . In 2010 he took part in the British Formula Renault and finished the season in 15th place in the championship.

In 2011 Gamberini moved to the European F3 Open to Team West-Tec . In Spa-Francorchamps he scored his first victory in this racing series. At the end of the season he was third in the drivers' standings behind Alex Fontana and David Fumanelli . He won the Copa classification with 10 wins out of 16 races. In addition, Gamberini made his debut in the 2011 FIA Formula 2 Championship at the event at the Nürburgring . He didn't get any points. In 2012 , Gamberini only completed one race weekend for Atech CRS GP in the GP3 series . He completed the two races with a British license. He got a point.
