Mikkel Mac
Mikkel Mac (born December 18, 1992 in Nykøbing Falster ) is a Danish racing driver . He competed in Formula 2 in 2011 .
Career
Like most motorsport enthusiasts , Mac began his career in karting , where he was active until 2008. In 2009 he switched to formula racing . He started half a season in the Danish Formula Ford . He was on the podium six times and won two races. In the overall standings, he finished the season in seventh place. Mac also took part in the first five race weekends of the European Formula BMW . He finished 23rd overall. In 2010, Mac switched to KTR in the northern European Formula Renault . He won three races and was runner-up behind Ludwig Ghidi with 340 to 368 points .
In 2011 Mac competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship . With a sixth place as the best result, he finished the season in eleventh place.
