The place is about six kilometers southeast of Fraunberg. The federal highway 388 runs 600 meters south of the village . On the southern outskirts of the village runs the Kemodinger Bach , which flows two kilometers southeast at Ottering into the Kirchlerner Bach, which flows into the Große Vils at Taufkirchen .
