Ken Ishikawa ( Japanese 石川 研 , Ishikawa Ken ; born February 6, 1970 in Okinawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ishikawa learned to play football on the school team at Ishikawa High School and the college team at Okinawa International University . He signed his first contract with Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1995 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In 1996 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club . For the club, he completed three top division games. In 1997 he moved to the second division Brummell Sendai (today: Vegalta Sendai). For the club he completed 71 games. In 2001 he moved to league competitor Mito HollyHock . For the club he completed 32 games. In 2003 he moved to the first division team JEF United Ichihara . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
