Ken Money

Kenneth Eric Money (born January 4, 1935 in Toronto ) is a Canadian physiologist , former astronaut aspirant and high jumper .

Money ran competitive sports as a high jumper during his studies and was four times Canadian champion (1956-1958, 1960). In 1956 he was with his personal best of 2.03 m fifth at the Olympic Games in Melbourne and in 1958 eighth at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff .

In 1961 he was awarded a Ph.D. PhD in physiology and embarked on an academic career. a. taught at the University of Toronto and authored over 300 scientific publications. 1984 to 1992 he was part of the Canadian space program as an astronaut candidate, but was not used.
