Kenah Cusanit (born 1979 in Blankenburg (Harz) ) is a German writer .

Life

Kenah Cusanit grew up in Berlin-Brandenburg. She studied ancient oriental philology , ethnology and African studies and successfully completed her studies with a Master of Arts. In addition to her fiction writing, she worked as a journalist in Germany and abroad after graduating, including as a science journalist. Her texts have been published in numerous respected literary magazines such as Edit , Language in the Technical Age and manuscripts and in anthologies, such as B. in the yearbook of poetry since 2009. For her essays and poems she has been awarded several prizes and grants. Kenah Cusanit took part in the Prosanova Festival 2014. In 2019 her novel Babel was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair 2019 prize in the “Fiction” category.
