Kenji Shibuya

Kenji Shibuya (also Kinji Shibuya ; actually Robert Shibuya , born May 16, 1921 in Utah , † May 3, 2010 in Hayward , California ) was an American wrestler .

Life

Shibuya, of Japanese descent, was one of the most famous wrestlers in the 1960s and 1970s, who embodied the stereotypical role of the Japanese villain in numerous individual fights, but also as a tag team with Mitsu Arakawa or Masa Saito . He made his debut in 1952. A small number of acting appearances are also available.

Before his wrestling career, Shibuya played college football ; then he devoted himself to breeding koi carp .

Kenji Shibuya passed away on May 3, 2010 at the age of 88.
