Kennedy Shaffer (born May 21, 1997 ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Shaffer began playing tennis at the age of eight and prefers to play on hard courts. She mainly plays tournaments at the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has so far won an individual tournament.

At the American Collegiate Invitational 2016 , an invitation tournament for college players that was held parallel to the US Open , she lost in the first round to Danielle Collins with 1: 6 and 2: 6.

Their first competition of the WTA Tour denied Shaffer at the Volvo Car Open in 2019 , when she with a wildcard in the qualification could begin. But there she lost her first round match against Conny Perrin with 0: 6 and 1: 6.
