Kenneth "Kenny" Fluellen (born October 20, 1990 ) is an American - German basketball player .

career

Fluellen's maternal family comes from Germany. He grew up in the United States and graduated from Warner Robbins High School in Georgia in 2009 . In his senior year, he scored 43 points in one game for the school's basketball team, setting a new record in the history of Warner Robbins High School. Thanks to his good performance, he managed to jump into the basketball roster at Limestone College in South Carolina . There he only came to four missions between 2009 and 2011. In 2012 he moved to Paine College (like Limestone from the second division of the NCAA ). Until the end of the 2013/14 season, he stood out in the Lions' jersey as an accurate distance shooter. He made 148 three-point throws in 86 appearances for Paine with a success rate of 37.1 percent. Fluellen recorded a total of 9.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists for the team from Augusta .

In July 2014, the BG Karlsruhe provided him with his first contract as a professional basketball player from the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . After a season at BG, he accepted an offer from second division club BV Chemnitz 99 for the 2015/16 season . With the Saxons, his playing time fell to less than ten minutes per game, he returned to Karlsruhe in 2016. His performance in a point game at the end of February 2017 caused a stir when he hit nine three-point throws in eleven attempts for Karlsruhe in a duel with Lich and recorded a total of 30 points. He initially left Karlsruhe after the end of the 2016/17 season, but returned in November 2017: After the team had not received the right to participate in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB for the 2017/18 season, they went in cooperation with the BAC Hockenheim under the Name BG Eisbären in the 1st regional league in the race. In 21 games in the 2017/18 season, he scored an average of 15 points in the 1st regional league.

During the summer break of 2018, Fluellen was signed by the Icelandic second division club UMF Sindri. His next stop was the German regional league team Baskets Vilsbiburg .
