Kenneth "Ken" Horton (born July 25, 1989 in Ossining , New York , United States ) is an American basketball player . He is currently under contract in Germany with Telekom Baskets Bonn .
Career
Horton received his basketball training from 2007 to 2012 at Central Connecticut State University . In his junior season (2010/11) with the Blue Devils , Horton was named Player of the Year for the Northeast Conference (19.5 PPG, 8.9 RPG). In his senior season in the US college league NCAA , he averaged 19.0 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
In the 2012 NBA draft , Horton was not drafted. In the summer of 2012, Horton signed a contract with the French second division club SOMB Boulogne-sur-Mer . He later moved to Cyprus to Apollon Limassol BC .
In the 2013-14 season, Horton played in Mexico for Huracanes de Tampico .
For the 2014/15 season Horton returned to Europe and played for the Finnish club Kataja Basket Club . With the team Horton became Finnish champions this season, to which he was able to contribute in the five playoff finals with 71 points and 47 rebounds.
The following season Horton moved to the German basketball league for medi bayreuth . For Bayreuth he averaged 12.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this season.
Horton moved to the Telekom Baskets Bonn within the league for the 2016/17 season .
