The Kenney nunatak is a distinctive nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range, it rises 2.5 km south-southwest of Ugolini Peak in the middle of the Waddington Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1994 after Frank J. Kenney, cartographer of the United States Geological Survey , who between 1991 and 1992 participated in the international GPS campaign at Byrd Station , McMurdo Station and in the Pine Island Bay area was involved.
