The Ugolini Peak is a 2,260 m high and pointed mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range it rises up from the Colwell massif 10 km south of the Knobhead on the southern flank of the upper Ferrar glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1965 after the Italian pedologist Fiorenzo Caesare Ugolini (* 1929), who examined the soil processes in the region around McMurdo Sound between 1961 and 1962 and from 1962 to 1963 .
