The Knobhead ( English for Knubbelkopf ) is a massive, ice-free mountain with a height of 2400 m , which towers south of the western end of the Kukri Hills in the Quartermain Mountains in the Antarctic Victoria Land, the junction of the Ferrar Glacier and Taylor Glacier .
The mountain was discovered by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott and named after its appearance.
