Kenny Gradney
Kenny Gradney (* in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is a rock - bass player who primarily as a member of Little Feat made a name.
Gradney's music career began in the early 1970s when he played on two Delaney & Bonnie albums . In 1972 he replaced Roy Estrada at Little Feat and was featured on each of their albums until the band split in 1979. He also worked as a studio musician, among others for Robert Palmer , Carly Simon and Chico Hamilton .
1983 Gradney joined Bob Weir's project Bobby & the Midnites , in which he only played on one album, since the band separated again in 1984. The following year he helped Jimmy Barnes on his self-titled album and in 1988 rejoined Little Feat, who started a reunion. In the 1990s Gradney was also increasingly active as a session musician, for example on albums by Travis Tritt , Eric Martin and The Zoo .
