Kent O'Connor (born March 5, 1987 in Brisbane , Australia ) is a Canadian football player .

Club career

O'Connor started playing soccer at a European soccer school when he was seven in Vancouver , British Columbia , the city his family came from. His first club was the Canadian amateur club Surray United before moving to Germany for TSV 1860 Munich in 2006 . After a few games in the youth field and in the second team, he was at FSV Oggersheim from February 1, 2008 , without being used there once. For the 2008/2009 season he then moved to Eintracht Trier . After only one season he left Trier for Denmark , to Brabrand IF .

In July 2010 O'Connor joined the regional league team SpVgg Weiden and left the club after six months for Canada.

Since September 2011 he has been studying art at the University of British Columbia and also plays for their soccer team, the Thunderbirds.

National team

O'Connor played a total of 15 games for the Canadian U-20 national team . He made his debut on April 12, 2006 against Norway. He also took part in the 2007 U-20 World Cup in his home country.
