Kenta Togawa ( Japanese 戸 川 健 太 Togawa Kenta ; born June 23, 1981 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Togawa learned to play football in the youth team of Verdy Kawasaki (today: Tokyo Verdy) and the university team of Meiji University . He signed his first contract in 2003 with the Tokyo Verdy . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2004 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . At the end of the 2005 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club, he completed 97 league games. In 2008 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC . For the club he completed 52 league games. In 2011 he moved to league competitor Gainare Tottori . At the end of the 2013 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League . For the club he completed 103 league games. In 2015 he moved to league rivals Fukushima United FC . For the club he completed 29 league games. At the end of 2016, he ended his career as a football player.
