Kentarō Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 健 太郎 Satō Kentarō ; born August 14, 1984 in Mie Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Satō learned to play football in the university team of Juntendo University . He signed his first contract with Montedio Yamagata in 2007 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club, he completed 134 league games. In 2012 he moved to the second division team JEF United Chiba . For the club he completed 140 league games. In 2016 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Sanga FC . For the club he completed 34 league games. In 2017 he moved to league rivals Renofa Yamaguchi FC .
