Kentarō Shigematsu ( Japanese 重 松 健 太郎 Shigematsu Kentarō ; born April 15, 1991 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shigematsu learned to play football in the youth team of FC Tokyo . He signed his first contract with FC Tokyo in 2010. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 19 first division games. In 2011 he was loaned to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . For the club he completed 25 league games. In 2012 he returned to FC Tokyo. In July 2012 he moved to the second division Ventforet Kofu . In 2013 he moved to league rivals Ehime FC . For the club he completed 25 league games. In 2014 he moved to league competitor Tochigi SC . For the club he completed 20 league games. In 2015 he moved to third division club FC Machida Zelvia . In 2015 he was runner-up in the J3 League with the club and was promoted to the J2 League . For the club he completed 95 league games. In 2018 he moved to league competitor Kamatamare Sanuki . At the end of the 2018 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League.
