Kenzo Schällibaum (born September 27, 1998 in Wattwil ) is a Swiss football player .

Career

Schällibaum began his career at FC Wattwil Bunt in 1929 . In 2010 he joined the youth team at FC Wil . For the 2013/14 season he moved to FC St. Gallen . For the 2016/17 season he returned to FC Wil on loan, where he should be used for the second team. In August 2016 he made his interregional debut in the 2nd division when he was in the starting line-up against FC Sirnach on the first day of that season . In the game that Wil won 2-0, he also scored his first goal in the fifth-highest division. By the end of the season he came to 25 interregional appearances in the 2nd league, in which he scored a goal.

For the 2017/18 season he was firmly committed and moved up to the squad of professionals from Wil. He made his debut in the Challenge League in July 2017 when he started against FC Vaduz on the first day of that season . In April 2018 he scored his first goal in the Swiss second division in a 1-1 draw against FC Rapperswil-Jona . In his first season with the professionals, he came to 25 missions in which he scored a goal.

Schällibaum also played 25 games in the 2018/19 season. After the 2018/19 season he left Wil. In June 2019 he completed a trial training session at the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau .

National team

Schällibaum played a game against the Netherlands for the Swiss U-20 team in November 2018 .
