The Kepler Memorial House in Regensburg is the death house of the astronomer Johannes Kepler . In the autumn of 1630, Kepler took up residence in the house that had been owned by the merchant Hillebrand Hilli since 1622. Kepler died here on November 15, 1630.

The house goes back to a medieval house castle and at times belonged to the Runtinger family. Until the 19th century, the house was the Golden Falcon inn . In 1959, the dilapidated house could just be saved and renovated from being demolished. Today the house with its bay window looks like it did in 1540. Since 1961 a museum about the astronomers has been housed here.

Nothing is left of the original furniture. However, the museum rooms were furnished with furniture from South German and Regensburg from the time of Kepler. The vestibule shows a life-size marble bust of Kepler by Philipp Jakob Scheffauer , which was made according to historical copperplate engravings and was originally intended for the Walhalla , but was not used there. In the former office of the tradesman, the stages of Kepler's life and a library with works by Kepler are shown. The living and sleeping rooms of the Kepler family are on the first floor.
