Kerr Batch (name variant Sinchu Demba ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, around 68 people live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 45.

geography

Kerr Batch is located on the north bank of the Gambia River in the Central River Region , Nianija District . The place is about eight kilometers southwest of Nyanga Bantang , which is on the North Bank Road .

Culture and sights

The place is known for the stone circles of Kerr Batch , which in addition to the stone circles also includes a V-shaped stone. The formation at Kerr Batch is recognized as a World Heritage Site. The Kerr Batch Stone Circles Museum is dedicated to the stones .
