Kerstin Burgey (born July 24, 1989 in Ludwigshafen ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .
Career
Burgey started her career in the youth of the Ludwigshafener SC , where she in the male youth, u. a. played in the D-youth with the future soccer world champion André Schürrle . After a stopover at TuS Niederkirchen , she moved to the second division FF USV Jena in 2007 , with whom she made it to the women's Bundesliga in 2008 . After she had only made three Bundesliga appearances, she moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's second team in summer 2009 . After two seasons in Hoffenheim, she went to FSV Oggersheim in summer 2011 . On June 1, 2012 she returned to Niederkirchen and joined the now independent 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen . There she ended her career in the summer of 2016 at the age of only 27 due to an injury.
As a trainer
Burgey has been part of the 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen coaching team since she retired in the summer of 2016 and works as assistant coach to head coach Niko Koutroubis .
Personal
In addition to her football career, Burgey works as a personal trainer at the International Fitness Academy (IFAA).
