Kerstin Felgner

Kerstin Felgner (* 1966 in Großenhain ) is a German politician from the Greens . From October 2011 to October 2012 she was one of the two chairmen of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania regional association .

Kerstin Felgner was spokeswoman for the Güstrow district association of Bündnis 90 and had been a member of the Güstrow district council since 2004, until she resigned in 2008 due to a stay abroad. In the district council she was chairman of the education and culture committee and deputy chairman of the committee for the environment, nature conservation and agriculture. After Silke Gajek and Jürgen Suhr gave up their offices as state chairmen after moving into the Schwerin state parliament after the state elections in 2011 , Kerstin Felgner and Andreas Katz were elected as successors. Felgner's focus is on education and women's policy. In October 2012 she was replaced by Claudia Müller as chairwoman.

Education, job and private life

Kerstin Felgner was born in Grossenhain, Saxony, in 1966. She is a teacher of music and German, performing games and German as a foreign language and has taught at different types of schools in the state school service, at a free school and at a private school in Brazil. She is currently an employee of a constituency office of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. Felgner is single and has one child.
