Kerstin Schweers

Kerstin Schweers (* 1965 in Dorsten ) is a German actress .

Live and act

Kerstin Schweers completed her acting studies from 1985 to 1989 at the Saarland University of Music and Theater , graduating with a diploma . She received singing lessons from Jonathan Kinsler in Berlin . During her studies she played in independent festival productions in Bayreuth and Amsterdam .

Her first engagements at city and state theaters took her to Wilhelmshaven , Dortmund , Zurich and Darmstadt from 1989–1996 . From 1996 to 2005 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the State Theater in Nuremberg . With the birth of her two sons, she moved to Berlin and has since worked as a freelance actress in guest engagements a. a. at the Staatstheater Braunschweig , Staatsoper Berlin , Renaissancetheater Berlin , Staatsoper Hannover , Anhaltisches Theater Dessau and Theater Konstanz as well as in free productions at the theater discounter , Bar einer Vernunft , English Theater and Radialsystem V in Berlin.

In addition to her acting activities, Schweers is involved in youth theater projects at Berlin schools and works as a teacher for language training.
