Bayu Kertanegara (born December 15, 1997 ) is an Indonesian sprinter .

Athletic career

Bayu Kertanegara gained his first international experience at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta , where he made it to the semi-finals in the 200-meter run and won the silver medal behind the team in 38.77 seconds with the Indonesian 4-by-100-meter relay Japan won. The following year he retired from the Asian Championships in Doha with the relay with 39.96 s in advance. At the World Relays in Yokohama , he also did not make it to the final with 39.39 s. In July he survived the qualifying round at the Summer Universiade in Naples , but retired with a new best of 10.79 s in the run-up.
