Kery Fay (* 5. February 1989 in the Ukrainian SSR , civic Karyna Fedorchuk ) is a German pop and dance - singer and songwriter .

Live and act

Kery Fay grew up in Bila Tserkva . At the age of 12 she emigrated to Germany with her parents. and took lessons in dance, singing and acting.

In 2011 she founded a four-member accompanying band with whom she tours Germany and Europe. She often accompanies herself on the piano. Your self-written songs are in English and mostly have an autobiographical reference.

Their debut EP Hardkiss own compositions was released in August, 2014. Kery Fay has appeared on television, at concerts and open airs - nationally and internationally in Bucharest, Abu Dhabi, Zurich and Tel Aviv.

In April 2016, the single Otherside was released as well as an acoustic version of the song with Loomis Green (guitarist of Jan Delay ), which Kery Fay had recorded in the Berlin UFO Sound Studios. She presented the new single on her tour in Germany (including at Cologne Pride 2016, Hamburg Pride 2016 and many more) and in Switzerland at the Zurich Pride Festival 2016, where she appeared as one of the headliners in front of 15,000 spectators.

At the beginning of 2017, Kery Fay performed with her band in the Hamburg Docks . In summer 2017 she was at the CSD Hannover 2017 and headlined the festival for the 25th anniversary of Christopher Street Day Frankfurt .

In early 2018, Kery Fay released the single Secrets . In the same year she performed at the Hamburg harbor birthday.

The album "Lights & Shadows" was presented on February 8, 2019 as part of a release concert exclusively for 150 guests at Docks & Prinzenbar. In the summer of 2019, Kery Fay performed at the CSD Munich .

Music production

She worked with Dave Roz on her single "Secrets". The single was released in February 2018 in cooperation with the label A45 Music / Kontor and reached chart positions in the German DJ and dance charts as well as in the Austrian iTunes charts. The title song "Lights" was created in cooperation with the German DJ and producer DJ Scotty, who gave the song a groovy and electro-funky sound.

The album "Lights & Shadows" was presented on February 8, 2019 as part of a release concert in the Hamburg Docks , Prinzenbar.

In July 2019 the single "Anywhere" was released, to which the German DJ , producer and ex Scooter member Jay Frog made 2 remixes.
