Schewtschenkowe ( Ukrainian Шевченкове , Russian Шевченково Shevchenko ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 3400 inhabitants (2001).
The 1654 first mentioned the village is the only village of the same name, 18.8 km² District Municipality in Rajon Brovary and lies on the territorial road T-10-04 and the railway track Kiev- Nizhyn 30 km northeast of Rajonzentrum Brovary and about 50 km north-east from the center the capital Kiev .
Personalities
- Olexandra Kononova ( Ukrainian Кононова Олександра Миколаївна ), biathlete and three-time gold medal winner of the 2010 Winter Paralympics, was born in 1991 in the village.
