The Kesselbach is a right tributary of the Saalach in the Berchtesgadener Land district .

The brook rises in the Lattengebirge near the Spechtenköpfe and runs northwest to the Saalach, into which it flows near the dam of the Saalaxis . Shortly before the confluence, he crosses the B 21 .
Debris
On July 5, 2010, due to heavy rainfall, a mudslide started in the stream and spilled the B 21. The sandy material settled meters high in the area of the estuary and in front of the bridge.
Canyoning
The lower half of the Kesselbach is open for canyoning from May 1st to October 31st.
