The Kesten Point (English, Bulgarian нос Кестен nos Kesten ) is a partial unvereiste headland at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . At the eastern end of the Blagoevgrad Peninsula , it is 4.6 km north of Foyn Point , 9 km east of Tikal Peak and 4.55 km south-southwest of Daskot Point on the south side of the entrance to Yamforina Cove . The headland was exposed when the Larsen Ice Shelf broke up in 2002.
The mapping took place in 2012. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the village of Kesten in southern Bulgaria .
