The Yamforina Cove (English, Bulgarian залив Ямфорина saliw Jamforina ) is a 4.55 km wide and 3 km long bay at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the east bank of the Blagoevgrad Peninsula , it lies between Daskot Point in the north and Kesten Point in the south. It was formed when the Larsen Ice Shelf broke up in 2002.
It was mapped in 2012. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the ancient Thracian city of Jamforina in southwestern Bulgaria .
