Kevin Bloody Wilson (* 13. February 1947 in Sydney as Dennis Bryant ) is an Australian singer and songwriter. Little, bearded Wilson uses his heavy Australian accent with great success to make the audience laugh. Without the help of the media ( radio , television ), he managed to build a loyal fan base - from Australia to the United Kingdom .

Beginnings and early careers

Although he considers Kalgoorlie , where he worked as an electrician in the gold mines, to be his home, he was actually born in Sydney. His real name is Dennis Bryant, but he changed his name in the 1970s when he was the front man of his own band, Bryan Dennis and the Country Club. He also used the Bryan Dennis name when he hosted a country music show on 6KG in Sydney from 1973 to 1980 .

He moved to Perth and began to sing crude songs in bars and pubs, which he released on cassette in 1984 under the title Your Average Australian Yobbo (German: Lümmel) . He managed to sell 22,000 cassettes before the whole thing was put on LPs for further income.

Most of his songs are sold through his website. In 2003 he posted a free mp3 song on his website called The Shane Warne Song , a song about the extraordinary exploits of the cricket-playing , belligerent Australian.

Wilson is married; his wife accompanies him on his tours. She usually sells goods, but has appeared as the guest vocal in some of Wilson's songs ( Dick'taphone ).

He also visits less densely populated places on his regular tours (for example, he has a large following in New Zealand , as he visits the smaller cities more often than other New Zealand entertainers). The majority of his fans are male and span a wide age range - from 14 to 90 years old. One of his favorite pastimes (he almost always meets with his fans after concerts) is signing autographs on bare female breasts. When handing out autographs with a dedication, it is not uncommon for him to write: “To _____, get fucked! Kev! ".
