Kevin Gleason
Kevin Gleason (born April 2, 1987 in Johnstown , Pennsylvania ) is an American racing driver . He started in the TCR International Series in 2015 .
Career
Gleason began his motorsport career in 2008 with Spec Miatas races. In 2010 he switched to professional automobile racing. He drove in the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup and was sixth overall with two podium finishes. In 2011 he switched to the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and reached eighth place in the ST class. In 2012, Gleason stayed in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and drove for various teams in the ST and GS classes. He also competed in the Pirelli World Challenge . In 2013 Gleason contested individual races in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and the Pirelli World Challenge. In 2014 he completed several races in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and the GT Asia .
In 2015 Gleason moved to the TCR International Series for West Coast Racing . At the season opener in Sepang , he achieved the first pole position of a TCR race. His first victory followed in Salzburg and his second race in Singapore . Gleason finished the season in fifth place overall.
