Kevin Ricki Larsen (born July 17, 1993 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish basketball player .

career

Larsen first played football , at the age of 15 he started playing basketball and played for the Copenhagen club Stevnsgade , before he went to the United States after a short stay at Værløse Basketball Club and from 2010 to 2012 at the Montrose Christian School (State of Maryland ) Went to school and strengthened the basketball team. His achievements there earned the Dane a scholarship to George Washington University , for whose basketball team he played in the NCAA . Larsen was a regular player for four years, was in the starting line-up in 133 of 136 games and had averages of 10.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per encounter. He reached his best values ​​in 2015/16 when he statistically recorded 12.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per use in 38 games.

The Danish inside player signed his first professional contract with French second division club Lille Metropole Basket. In the 2016/17 season he made 13 league appearances and averages of 7.6 points and 3.4 rebounds, separated from the team in January 2017 and moved to Germany in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA for Mitteldeutscher BC in the same month . After a probationary period, he ultimately stayed with MBC until the end of the 2016/17 season. During the summer break 2017, Larsen signed a contract with Horsens IC in his home country . He delivered outstanding performance in Horsens, was Danish runner-up with the team and came in 33 games of the season on 19.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per use. As a reward, Larsen was named Basketligaen Player of the Year. Larsen then went to the Spanish second division club CB Bilbao Berri . He stayed in the Spanish second division by joining Club Deportivo Maristas in Palencia in the summer of 2019. In the 2019/20 season, Palencias was the best scorer with 14.2 points per match. The 6.3 rebounds per game were also the team maximum. In the summer break of 2020 he was signed by league rivals Club Baloncesto Breogán .
